August 18, 1980 MKS have already joined the 156 plants of the Coast. After a two hour session with 10 and 20 hours, it was agreed the contents of 21 strike demands. Then they started printing. The demands were forwarded afternoon by a delegation of the Gdansk MKS palatine George Kołodziejskiemu. In Gdynia Shipyard arises Free Printing Gdynia and Szczecin Shipyard strike begins. August 19, 1980The authorities continue to try to break the solidarity of the strikers, leading talks with strike committees in each plant. Are created "competitive" MKS-s, designed to talk only with government representatives. MKS Gdansk Shipyard, bringing together 253 companies already, the government reiterates its call for talks.
